It’s about more than just a microphone
I’m Carolyn, the voice behind CMB Sound Studio. What began years ago as play-by-play in a childhood friend’s basement grew into a career rooted in storytelling, clarity, and connection.
I bring more than 20 years of professional broadcasting and audio production experience, currently serving as the play-by-play voice for my alma mater Western Michigan University Women’s Basketball and Softball (Go Broncos!). I also collaborate with organizations on creative audio projects from commercials to video narration. My voice can be heard on Audible with audiobook narration credits spanning from children’s literature to business consulting.
Whether in the studio or on the air, I bring the same care, precision, and storytelling focus to every collaboration — helping clients communicate clearly and connect authentically.
